Mycelium is the root-like structure of a fungus made up of many branching, thread-like hyphae. Mushrooms are the fruiting body and often the most visible parts of Mycelia. Mycelia form an extensive ecological network that cycles nutrients through natural systems benefiting soil, plants, and animals. With almost every step we take, Mycelia are under our feet. Like all elements of nature, we can offer our gratitude and reciprocity through ceremony.
In coordinating this simple ceremony, we have partnered with our friends at https://www.natureevolutionaries.com, and have created a printable instruction sheet to provide guidance and the framework for you to bring your creativity and open heart.

FOR A TREE
Reconciling humanity's relationship with Mother Earth
“Active expressions of gratitude are the
seeds of healing and nourishment for Mother Earth.”
Arkan Lushwala, Author of "Deer and Thunder"
Active expressions of gratitude are at the heart of this ceremony in honor of trees.
By offering our gratitude, we engage in a relationship where Mother Earth takes care of us and we take care of her. We engage in the sacred act of reciprocity…of giving and receiving blessings.
In this way we experience our identity, and responsibility as caretakers of life on Mother Earth.
When we offer the nourishment of our prayers, we create a vibration of gratitude that moves from deep within us, up through the treetops and into the heavens.
A Gratitude Ceremony in Five Minutes
We invite each you to offer your love, gratitude and appreciation to trees through this simple, meaningful ceremony.
